Your mission that drives sustainability in logistics

At CargoBeamer, we’re on a mission to make freight transport cleaner, smarter, and more efficient – by shifting traffic from road to rail through innovative intermodal solutions. Now, we’re going one step further: building a seamless Door-to-Door (D2D) transport platform that combines the power of our unique rail technology with first- and last-mile trucking.

As Product Manager D2D, you’ll drive the design, MVP development, and go-to-market strategy for this key strategic initiative. You’ll collaborate with freight marketplaces, road partners, and internal stakeholders to shape a scalable and sustainable logistics platform that connects Europe more intelligently than ever before.

Your mission:

Develop and own the roadmap for our D2D transportation platform
Shape the service offering: pricing, partner models, and user experience
Build the MVP by integrating with load boards and trucking networks (e.g., Transporeon, TIMOCOM)
Collaborate with rail and road teams to align operations and data flows
Validate customer needs through interviews, feedback loops, and data insights
Own KPI tracking, iterative improvement, and platform growth

Your Background & Skills

Degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus
4+ years of experience in product management, logistics, transportation tech, or platform businesses
Proven track record in MVP development, marketplace integration, or freight operations
Strong analytical and strategic thinking, including pricing models and customer journey design
Experience working cross-functionally with commercial, operations, and tech teams
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Fluent in English; German or another EU language is a plus
Proficient with tools such as Jira, Miro, Figma, Excel/BI, and load board platforms like Transporeon or TIMOCOM

CargoBeamer revolutioniert den europäischen Schienengüterverkehr – mit einer patentierten Verladetechnologie, die LKW-Trailer automatisch auf die Schiene bringt. Um unsere Vision eines klimafreundlichen und effizienten Güterverkehrs Wirklichkeit werden zu lassen, bauen wir jetzt die nächste Stufe: eine digitale Door-to-Door-Plattform, die den Straßen- und Schienentransport nahtlos verbindet.

Als Produktmanager:in Door-to-Door Plattform übernimmst du Verantwortung für den Aufbau, die Konzeption und Weiterentwicklung dieses Schlüsselprojekts. Du arbeitest eng mit internen Fachbereichen, Partnernetzwerken sowie digitalen Frachtenbörsen zusammen und entwickelst ein Angebot, das den Zugang zur Schiene für Verlader, Spediteure und Partner so einfach macht wie nie.

Deine Aufgaben:

Definition und Umsetzung des MVPs unserer Door-to-Door Logistikplattform
Entwicklung von Angebotslogiken, Preisstrukturen und UX-Konzepten
Integration externer Plattformen (z. B. Transporeon, TIMOCOM) und Partnernetzwerke
Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Rail- und Road-Teams für optimale Prozessflüsse
Kundenzentrierte Weiterentwicklung durch Interviews und KPI-Analysen
Verantwortung für Plattformkennzahlen, Wachstum und Markteinführung

Das bringst Du mit

Abgeschlossenes Studium in Wirtschaft, Ingenieurwesen, Logistik, Supply Chain, Informatik oder einem verwandten Fachgebiet; ein Masterabschluss ist von Vorteil
Mindestens 4 Jahre Berufserfahrung im Produktmanagement, in der Logistikbranche oder in plattformbasierten Geschäftsmodellen
Erfahrung in der Entwicklung von MVPs, Integration von Frachtenbörsen oder intermodalen Services
Ausgeprägtes analytisches und strategisches Denken, insbesondere in Preisgestaltung und Service Design
Erfahrung in der abteilungsübergreifenden Zusammenarbeit mit Vertrieb, Operations und IT
Sehr gute Kommunikations- und Stakeholder-Management-Fähigkeiten
Verhandlungssichere Englischkenntnisse; Deutsch oder eine weitere EU-Sprache von Vorteil
Sicherer Umgang mit Jira, Miro, Figma, Excel/BI sowie Frachtenbörsen wie Transporeon oder TIMOCOM
