As Project Manager (m/f/d) - Rail Construction, Fluent Italian you will be responsible for the management and coordination of rail construction projects mainly in Italy. As part of our Terminal Project Team, you will be largely responsible for the continuous growth of the CargoBeamer network. You will ensure that all cost and feasibility aspects are taken into account throughout the entire project process, thus enabling sustainable transport in Europe. Your workplace is Leipzig with occasional remote work opportunities.
Your responsibilities include:
- Developing and coordinating project plans, schedules, and budgets for railway construction projects in Italy. You will work closely with internal teams, external contractors, and stakeholders to ensure adherence to project goals and timelines.
- Supervising all aspects of construction work, monitoring progress, quality, and safety standards, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Monitoring and controlling project progress, including schedule, resource allocation, and budget management, and identifying opportunities for cost savings to ensure project profitability.
- Identifying and resolving issues that may impact project progress, contributing significantly to the successful expansion of the CargoBeamer network.
- Ensuring effective project coordination, visualization, and collaboration by introducing and utilizing the BIM (Building Information Modeling) method.
